How Lifespan Vault makes money.

Full FTC-grade disclosure of our affiliate relationships, the commission ranges we earn, and how we wall off editorial decisions from revenue economics.

The short version

Lifespan Vault earns affiliate commissions on outbound product clicks that result in purchases. When you click through one of our links to a merchant and buy a product, the merchant pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price either way.

Our editorial rankings, scores, and verdicts are never for sale. The product we score highest in a category is the one we genuinely think is best for the buyer profile we describe, not the one that pays us most. We do accept clearly labeled sponsored features and paid brand placements, which are always disclosed on the piece itself and are kept separate from, and never change, the independent rankings.

Ownership & independence

Lifespan Vault is an independently operated, editorially independent publication. It is commonly owned with MyProtocolStack, a health-tracking software platform used by independent clinics, longevity practitioners, and individual optimizers. We disclose that common ownership for full transparency. It does not influence our rankings, which are editorially earned and never for sale, and Lifespan Vault does not exist to funnel readers to that platform.

Programs we participate in

We earn commission through both individual brand programs and multi-merchant affiliate networks. Active networks include:

  • Impact - 1MD Nutrition, 1st Phorm, AEKE, Anker, BandsCoStraps, Bearaby, Boroux, Brik Sleep, CogniFit, Echelon Fitness, and 44 more.
  • Awin - Acaderma, Airdog USA (Silicon Valley Air Expert), AirVantage, AlorAir (The Dry Air), Aniwell, aosu, APE BORN Fitness, Approved Science, Argendon, Arq8, and 133 more.
  • CJ Affiliate - Adagio Teas, Amazfit US, Bulldog Online Yoga & Fitness, CorneaCare, Crowned Skin, Foreo, GroundLuxe, HealthLabs.com, Incogni, LivFresh, and 6 more.
  • Refersion - Renue Blue, Renue by Science, SuperAkki.
  • Direct programs - Ambrosia Systems, BioProtein Technology, Inergize Health, MyProtocolStack, RecovAthlete, Superpower, Therasage, Vibras.
  • Amazon Associates - Amazon, Apple, Garmin, Hooga Health.

This list is generated from our live program registry and only names programs that are approved and active. We apply to additional brand programs over time; a program we have applied to is not listed until it is approved, and only live programs earn a commission.

Commission ranges

Commission rates vary widely by category and program:

  • Hardware (saunas, cold plunges, red light): 5-15% typically
  • Wearables and tech: 3-10% typically
  • Supplements: 10-50% (BiOptimizers via ClickBank ranges up to 50% first sale; Tru Niagen, Renue, Timeline cluster at 10-20%)
  • Diagnostics / telehealth: $50-300 CPA per qualified signup (Maximus $250-290, Function $50-100, Hone $10-50)
  • Software / SaaS: 10-50% recurring or one-time

Higher-commission programs do not rank higher. Editorial scoring is calibrated against category, not commission economics.

Editorial firewall

  • Rankings are never for sale. Sponsored features and paid placements are available and always labeled as such, but they never buy a spot in, or change, the independent editorial rankings.
  • No ranking-for-pay. We do not adjust rankings based on commission rates.
  • No sponsored reviews disguised as editorial. If a brand sponsors content, that content carries a clear SPONSORED label.
  • Free product samples are disclosed. When we receive product samples for review, we disclose this on the specific product’s page.
  • Editor has final say. When a product we cover faces regulatory action, brand issues, or quality decline, we update or remove the review - even if it’s an active commission source.

Cookie tracking and links

Affiliate links use standard cookie-based tracking. When you click an outbound link, a cookie is placed on your device that identifies Lifespan Vault as the referrer. Cookie windows vary by program (typically 30-90 days; up to 120 days for Bulletproof). We do not collect any personally identifying information through these links beyond what the merchant collects in their normal checkout flow.

Outbound links are tagged with our publisher identifier (e.g., ?sca_ref=11189247.F6pYEQ6Lzh for Inergize Health). The tag is the same on every link to that merchant; it identifies Lifespan Vault as the referrer, nothing more.

Compliance and corrections

We comply with the FTC’s Endorsement Guides, state-level disclosure requirements, and the BBB / NAD self-regulatory framework. Affiliate disclosure appears at the top of every product page, in the footer of every email we send, and on this dedicated page.

If you believe we’ve missed a required disclosure or made an inaccurate claim, email ryan@lifespanvault.com. Corrections are reflected in the updatedAt field on the corrected page.
