The Longevity Gear Price Integrity Report

What we learned tracking verified prices on 164 longevity products: how fast published prices rot, the five ways they break, and the corrections we caught, with dates.

The state of the catalog (live figures)

Every price on this site carries a dated verification. As of 2026-07-03: 164 tracked products, 49% re-verified within the last 30 days, 74% within 60 days, median verification age 35 days. A daily automated poller checks brand storefront data and flags divergence for human review; anything it cannot verify stays marked with its last-checked date.

The five ways published prices break

Stale MSRPs. A price verified once and never re-checked. The web is full of 2024 prices on 2026 pages. This is the default state of affiliate content.

App-discount divergence. Storefront data feeds report list price while a discount app rewrites what buyers actually pay at checkout. The feed is technically true and practically wrong.

Restructure jumps. Brands reposition (new SKUs, new tiers) and the old price range becomes fiction overnight.

Sample-variant traps. Automated price trackers ingest $3 sample sachets as if the product price collapsed. Untended automation creates its own errors.

Quote-gated pricing. Premium brands hide prices behind consultations. Honest coverage marks these as estimates instead of quoting a number nobody can click to.

Corrections we caught (the receipts)

July 2026
CryoBuilt Everest (cryotherapy chamber)
Listed at $50,000-60,000 in our records. Automated divergence check against the brand storefront found the real price at $105,000-135,000. The single largest correction in the catalog: roughly 2x under-listed.
July 2026
Kind Water E-3000 (whole-house filtration)
The brand’s own storefront data reported $2,094 because a subscription-discount app rewrites pricing at checkout. Actual buyer price: $1,675-1,885. This failure mode (feed shows list, buyers pay less) is invisible unless you check the rendered page.
July 2026
ERLY (supplement)
A brand restructure moved pricing from $45-110 to $240. Stale third-party pages still quote the old range.
July 2026
Renu Therapy Cold Stoic 2.0 (cold plunge)
Summer sale caught the day it changed: $8,249 against the $9,499 list, verified against the brand’s own storefront data, and reflected on every page that names the price.
July 2026
Troomy (supplement)
A $2.99 sample variant in the brand’s product feed would have registered as a 97% price drop. Guard added: variants below 20% of the verified floor are ignored as samples, not sales.
June 2026
VO2 Master (metabolic analyzer)
The manufacturer flagged inaccuracies in our coverage. Corrected live to the verified $6,895-7,595 professional pricing. Brand-initiated corrections are part of integrity too.

Methodology

Prices are verified against each brand’s own storefront data (product feeds and rendered pages), never aggregator summaries. Subscription pricing is recorded with its cadence. Quote-gated products are marked as estimates. A daily poller compares current storefront data against the last verified price and flags divergence beyond safety thresholds for human review before anything publishes. Live price bands across the catalog: the Longevity Gear Price Index.
