AI visibility report

Who AI recommends when buyers ask about home saunas

We ran 6 core sauna buyer queries against the sources AI assistants cite. Across all 6, an independent publisher supplies the buyer answer in 1 of them. In 4 of the 6, one brand, Sun Home, effectively owns the "objective" pick through its own blog and PR syndication. Dated 2026-07-04.

What we measured

For each query, we recorded the top sources an AI answer engine would draw from: their format (brand page, brand blog, affiliate roundup, editorial, clinical, retailer), which sauna brands surface, whether any independent publisher appears, who effectively owns the answer, and the specific citable slot nobody fills. Every claim below traces to a recorded snapshot entry.

The pattern

The recurring gap is the same across every commercial query: there is no independent, non-brand comparison table that publishes verified prices and measured EMF side by side. Brand-owned buyer guides fill that vacuum, so the answer an AI assistant returns as neutral is, in practice, one brand grading its own homework. The health-only query ("are infrared saunas worth it") is owned by clinical authorities, but none of them connect that context to a verified buyer decision.

best infrared sauna 2026
Sun Home authors its own "8 brands compared" roundup and supplies the models named in the editorial reviews, so the "objective" answer is brand marketing. No independent by-EMF comparison table with verified prices exists.
best home sauna for a small space
No brand-neutral small-space table with verified footprints, plug and circuit requirements, prices, and EMF side by side. AI defaults to Sun Home buyer guides for the best pick.
infrared vs traditional sauna which is better
Health-editorial domains own this, but all prose and no structure: no side-by-side table of temperature, EMF, research strength, price, and use-case fit, and no by-brand mapping.
best 2 person infrared sauna
Every top result is a brand-owned collection or a generalist roundup that repeats the same premium picks with no verified current prices and no EMF column.
are infrared saunas worth it
Clinical authorities own the benefit language; brand blogs own the ROI answer. No independent publisher pairs the health context with a verified buyer decision.
best low EMF infrared sauna
EMF is the whole reason for the query, yet no neutral, dated table publishes measured EMF readings across brands. Buyers get each brand quoting its own numbers.

How Lifespan Vault is closing the gap

This report is not an observation we file away. It is the brief for the coverage we build. The open slot, an independent comparison with verified prices and honest by-buyer-type verdicts, is exactly what these pages are for:

If you are a sauna brand

Look at the "notably absent" column. If your brand is not surfacing when buyers ask AI which sauna to buy, that is a measurable, fixable gap, and it is the exact thing we track. We run this same snapshot for a single brand, dated and monthly, showing where you appear, where you do not, and the specific citable slot to win. It is the reason a cold pitch turned into a same-day reply from one diagnostics brand this month.

Method: 6 buyer queries plus close variants run against the live search layer that AI assistants cite, recorded 2026-07-04. This is a point-in-time snapshot and results move as the web changes. Source of record retained. Lifespan Vault sells editorial placement to no one; rankings and verdicts are not for sale. Partnerships cover AI-visibility reporting and paid content, always disclosed.
