HAVN Wave Detector - Multi-Field EMF Meter

A three-field EMF meter that reads magnetic, electric and RF. The odd part is that HAVN photographs tell you more about it than HAVN spec sheet does.

A meter is the one purchase that turns EMF from a belief into a number, so we are glad HAVN sells one. What we cannot do is pretend it is the best way to spend $244.

Start with what HAVN actually publishes in writing, because it is thin. One frequency range, 50 MHz to 3.5 GHz, repeated four times across the page. No numeric accuracy or tolerance anywhere, only the phrases "professional laboratory-grade accuracy" and "professional-grade accuracy you can trust". No measurement ranges for the other two fields, no units, no axis count, no battery specification, no dimensions and no manufacturer model number in the copy. HAVN says the device "measures three types of radiation simultaneously" and never says in writing which three.

Its own photographs answer that question. In the product images HAVN serves from its Shopify CDN, the screen is labelled Magnetic Field in mG broken out as X, Y and Z, Electric Field in V/m, and RF Strength in microwatts per square metre, and the bezel below the screen carries the manufacturer wordmark TENMARS, a real Taiwanese test-instrument maker. HAVN footer carries a blanket disclaimer that some images may be AI-generated for illustrative purposes, so treat those as what the photographs show rather than as a published specification, and note that HAVN leaves the maker mark visible rather than covering it. That is the opposite of a rebadge.

So it is a genuine three-field meter, which is more than the marketing copy manages to say. The problem is the price against the field. On 2026-08-08 the Trifield TF2 is $186 direct from AlphaLab and publishes a mode-by-mode specification: AC magnetic 40 Hz to 100 kHz at 0.1 to 100.0 mG on three axes, AC electric 40 Hz to 100 kHz at 1 to 1000 V/m, RF 20 MHz to 6 GHz, plus stated tolerances at spot frequencies. The GQ EMF-390 is $119 on GQ own storefront and adds an RF spectrum view, though its spectrum analyser stops at 2.5 GHz even though its total-power browser reaches higher, a distinction GQ own guide is careful about and most write-ups get wrong. HAVN costs $58 more than the TF2 and $125 more than the GQ, publishes less, and its RF range stops at 3.5 GHz, below the 6 GHz band Wi-Fi 6E and 7 use.

One more thing a buyer should weigh. HAVN own structured data reports an average of 5.0 from exactly one review on this product. The "over 5,300 five-star reviews" line you will see is a site-wide footer banner across all HAVN products, not this meter. To HAVN credit, the page includes a section headed "Why $244?" that opens "we will be straight with you, this is not the cheapest EMF meter out there", and HAVN describes it as the same meter the company uses to check for hotspots in its own testing.
