Flux publishes a 0 mm heel-to-toe drop on all seven of its shoe product pages, and the Adapt Runner's $145.00 is a standing price sitting outside the Sale collection. It is also the model Flux gives three different stack heights, 30 mm, 26mm and 22mm, across three of its own pages.

The Adapt Runner is Flux Footwear's road running shoe, and its $145.00 is a standing price rather than a markdown: Flux publishes the compare-at as $145.00 or leaves it unset, and the shoe is not in the Sale collection the nav points at. The product page spec grid gives 11.5 oz at M10, a 0 mm heel-to-toe drop and a 30 mm stack height, over a removable AdaptSol insole, a breathable polyester knit upper, a Phylon midsole and a flexible rubber outsole. Sizing is unisex, M4 / W5.5 to M14 / W15.5, 20 steps, one width per size.

Flux publishes three different stack heights for this shoe on its own domain, and names no governing figure. The product page says 30 mm. The Flux vs Altra page prints 26mm in the Flux column. The Flux vs Vivobarefoot page prints "22mm (More Cushion)" and "The Flux Adapt Runner has a thicker midsole (22mm vs 4mm)". That same page renames two components the spec grid names, "AdaptKnit (Recycled)" against "Breathable polyester knit" and "AdaptTread Rubber (3mm)" against "Flexible rubber". Flux also publishes no single trustworthy review count or star rating: at least seven different totals appear on its own domain.

Other Flux shoe lines are marked down, and the markdown carries a term. The Adapt Knit Trainer lists at $135.00 with six colourways at $99.00, the Adapt Leather Trainer lists at $160.00 with Black at $99.00 and White at $109.00, and the Adapt Graphene RR lists at $160.00 at $109.00. The clearance page states "Up To 30% Off" while Flux's own compare-at figures compute 38.1, 31.9 and 26.7 percent off; both are published. Everything in that collection is "strictly non-returnable", the discount is "Automatic discount applied at checkout. No codes", and Flux states that items on that page which are on sale are not eligible for its current cashback offers.

Standard shipping is free at $80 and over and "$5+" below it, 3 to 7 business days, after up to 3 business days of processing. Flux puts the total at 3 to 12 business days, then carves out military addresses, territories, Hawaii and Alaska, so that ceiling is not universal. Returns run 30 days on unworn footwear through the Corso portal, need three photos and up to 2 business days of review, and the label "WILL EXPIRE WITHIN 15 DAYS FROM THE TIME OF ISSUE". The Adapt Guarantee states that a manufacturing defect believed to be within 1 year of original purchase is replaced free of charge, or covered by a gift card of equal value if the item is out of stock or discontinued, and Flux publishes two different exclusion lists for it, on the guarantee page and the returns page.

Frequently asked

Flux Footwear Adapt Runner - buyer FAQ

Is $145.00 the Adapt Runner's real price, or a sale price?

It is the standing price. Flux publishes $145.00 on the Adapt Runner product page and in its product feed, with the compare-at either equal to $145.00 or unset, and the shoe is not a member of the Sale collection the site nav points at. The markdowns on other Flux lines, $99.00 and $109.00, are clearance prices against struck-through compare-ats of $135.00 and $160.00.

What is the Adapt Runner's stack height?

Flux publishes three figures and does not say which governs. The product page spec grid says 30 mm, beside 11.5 oz (M10) and a 0 mm drop. The Flux vs Altra page prints 26mm in the Flux column. The Flux vs Vivobarefoot page prints 22mm, with body copy putting the Flux midsole at 22mm against a rival figure of 4mm. No settled stack height is published for this model.

Can I return Flux shoes, and are the clearance prices returnable?

Flux accepts returns and exchanges on unworn footwear for 30 days from the date of purchase, handled through the Corso portal, requiring three photos and up to 2 business days of review, with refunds 3 to 5 business days after the return begins tracking. Items marked 30% OFF or CLEARANCE are strictly non-returnable, with no exchanges, refunds or gift cards, and all apparel and accessories are non-returnable too.

How does Flux sizing work?

Every Flux shoe page carries the same guidance: the shoe runs small for most, so size up by 1/2. Sizing is unisex, published as paired numbers such as M10 / W11.5, and the Adapt Runner offers 20 size steps from M4 / W5.5 to M14 / W15.5 in one width per size. Size charts are images only, so no foot length in centimetres or inches is readable as text.

How long does a Flux order take to arrive?

Standard shipping is free on orders $80 and over and "$5+" below that, quoted at 3 to 7 business days, after up to 3 business days of processing. Flux puts the total at 3 to 12 business days from purchase, then carves out military addresses, territories, Hawaii and Alaska, which it says can run longer.

What does the Adapt Guarantee cover?

Flux states that if you believe there is a manufacturing defect within 1 year of your original purchase, it will replace the product free of charge, or issue a gift card of equal value if the item is out of stock or discontinued. Coverage is limited to footwear bought from the Flux site or an authorized retailer, and claims take 2 to 5 business days to review.
