The 3-in-1 Foam Plyo Box is the foam version of the standard wooden 3-in-1 box: a solid foam block wrapped in a durable vinyl cover, with three usable heights depending on which side faces up. The smaller box gives 16, 20, and 24 inches at 39 lb and $225. The larger gives 20, 24, and 30 inches at 55 lb and $350. Heights are marked on the cover so you can confirm the setting at a glance.

The case for foam over wood is simple: a missed jump meets a padded vinyl edge instead of a plywood corner. Power Systems positions the foam construction as minimizing injury risk from contact with the box, and that is the practical difference you feel when training jumps near your limit or coaching someone new to box work. For step-ups, box squats, and elevated push-up positions, the firm block is stable under load.

The trade-offs are weight and price. Flipping a 55 lb block between heights is a two-hand job, and the foam box costs more than a comparable plywood box you could build or buy. Vinyl covers on any foam plyo box also show wear at the edges over years of rubber soles landing on them, so this is gear you buy for the training quality, not for resale. One block also takes real floor space: this is a garage gym purchase, not an apartment one.

For a home setup, the smaller 16x20x24 box covers most people. The 20x24x30 makes sense if you already jump 24 inches comfortably and want headroom.
