QUICK VERDICT
The Puckipuppy GoldenR Pro is a dual motor fat tire e-bike priced from $1,999.99 to $2,099.99, weighing 92.6 lbs.
- Best for
- Riders who want a dual motor fat tire bike with a 960 Wh removable pack and who have the lifting setup for 92.6 lbs.
- Skip if
- Skip it if you will be the one lifting the bike. It weighs 92.6 lbs. The battery pack is removable, which is the obvious way to lighten it, but we cannot tell you what the bike weighs with the pack out. Check 92.6 lbs against your own rack rating and your own stairs.

Three specs carry the case for this bike. The dual motor drivetrain is rated at 1100W combined and 1600W peak combined. The battery is a 48V 20Ah pack, 960 Wh nominal, and it comes off the bike. That pack is rated IPX7 and certified by SGS to UL 2271, and Puckipuppy lists the bike itself as certified to UL 2849 by SGS.
The range claim is the weak point. Puckipuppy publishes 40 to 80 miles and states no assist level behind it. A 2x spread gives you nothing to plan a commute against.
Two things to settle before you buy. The 400 lb figure is published as a maximum load, and whether that ceiling counts rider plus cargo only or includes the bike's own 92.6 lbs is not something we verified, so do not plan a payload up to the line until Puckipuppy confirms. And the warranty: the product page states a 2-year standard warranty, and the warranty page splits it by part, frame 3 years, motor, controller and battery 2 years (the battery up to 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first), other parts 1 or 2 years. The extended warranty is sold separately from $169 for one year, and the Puckipuppy extended warranty policy says that cover activates when the original warranty expires while the same sentence says it takes effect from the date of shipment, so confirm with Puckipuppy whether that $169 buys a first year of cover or a second.
