The Gym Nano is a single cable trainer from Speediance, on sale at speediance.com from 2026-10-10. A motor, not a weight stack, sets the load: up to 220 lbs, over 16.7 ft of cable at up to 21.0 ft/s. The spec table lists 2,000 W of power, and Speediance's blog gives 2,000 W continuous and 2,500 W peak. It gives the weight as 18.1 lbs, while the feature text on the same page says 18 lbs.
Speediance publishes five modes: Standard, Chain, Eccentric, Fixed Speed and Sled. Chain raises the resistance toward the top of a movement, and Eccentric adds resistance on the return to the start. The unit records reps, load, speed, power and force, and reports peak force, RFD, impulse, mean force and asymmetry. Speediance's own terms say its data cannot match medical equipment or scientific measuring devices, so read these as training numbers, not lab readings. The display is a 4.0-inch, 720 x 720 screen. Whether the Speediance app or Wellness+ is needed is not published.
Speediance says it mounts on a rack, a base, turf or in a studio, and every package includes a knob quick release rack mount. Speediance's accessories guide lists magnetic rack mounts for 3 in and 2 in posts as sold separately and does not say which post sizes the included knob mount fits. No package includes a rack, and Speediance publishes no mounting instructions; its user manual page has no Gym Nano entry. Power comes from the internal battery and the included 65W adapter, so no outlet is needed during a session. Speediance gives up to 8 hours per charge and says actual life varies with resistance, range of motion and speed. Charge time is not published.
The three single unit packages differ in attachments, not in the machine. The $1,699 base package has no handle. Core at $1,999 adds a sliding rack mount and a handle; Station at $2,299 adds a Bluetooth ring controller, tricep rope, belt, ankle straps and an extension strap. Dual Core at $3,998 and Dual Station at $4,398 pair two units for bilateral training, and Speediance's accessories and buying guides put two units in Twin Mode, synced over Bluetooth, at up to 440 lbs combined. The Sled Rope and bar in the photos are in no package.
Where it gives ground: the paperwork. The warranty page gives the Gym Nano 24 months on the unit and 12 months each on the battery and cable, plus one free battery within 12 months of delivery if Speediance confirms battery health below 80%. The warranty copy embedded on the product page has no Gym Nano row. The product page shows 30-Day Returns, while the written return policy lists Gym Pal, Gym Monster, Gym Monster 2 and VeloNix, not the Gym Nano. The page names the studio as a place to mount it, yet the warranty excludes damage from commercial use in gyms and personal training studios.
