The X3 keeps the flagship's 300 lb capacity, ankle lock system, and included 5-year warranty for $100 less at $499.

The FitSpine X3 sits one step below the flagship LX9 in Teeter's inversion line at $499, and it keeps the parts that matter: the same 300 lb weight capacity, the same 4 ft 8 in to 6 ft 6 in height range, the FlexTech backrest on an 8-point suspension system, and the Deluxe EZ Reach Ankle Lock System with its extra-long handle and secondary gravity-activated lock. Teeter lists it as an FDA-registered device with UL safety certification.

Control and accessories match the premium model closely. The EZ-Angle tether sets inversion at embroidered 20, 40, and 60 degree marks, traction and Stretch Max handles let you add decompression at partial angles, and the box includes the Lumbar Bridge, Acupressure Nodes, and a headrest pillow. At 65.8 lb it is nearly 8 lb lighter than the LX9 and folds to a slightly smaller 20 by 28.8 by 66 in storage footprint.

Where it gives ground: you give up the LX9's arched ergonomic frame and raised boarding platform, which is the main comfort difference when stepping in and strapping down, and the in-use footprint is still large at 81 by 28.8 by 86.5 in plus ceiling clearance. Inversion is also not appropriate for everyone, so confirm head-down positioning with your doctor first.

Ownership terms mirror the rest of the FitSpine line: 5-year full warranty included, 90-day returns, and HSA/FSA eligibility, so the effective cost of the $499 table can drop if you pay with pre-tax health dollars.
