The PerformaSleep Hybrid is a 12 inch mattress from PerformaSleep, a Newnan, Georgia store whose whole range is sleep products. It comes in one feel, Medium, and six sizes from Twin to California King. The brand lists its 2.0 and Essentials mattresses as Medium firm and publishes no numeric firmness scale for any of them.
PerformaSleep lists the build from the top down. A cover it calls the Cooling Performance Cover sits over a 2 inch CopperCool infused Enersorb comfort layer and a 2 inch Enersorb layer. Below those are 7 inch individually wrapped coils with reinforced edge support, then a 1 inch firm base foam, which together make up the stated height. The brand says copper and gel particles in the top layer pass heat away from the body from particle to particle. It says its foams are CertiPUR-US certified and gives no certificate number. Coil count, coil gauge, foam density, cover fabric, fire barrier and a weight limit are not published.
The brand says the mattress is handcrafted in the USA, with its foam made in Georgia and its cover materials sourced internationally. Where the coils are made is not published.
The mattress ships compressed in a box, free to the contiguous United States. The shipping page names UPS and the FAQ names FedEx. Lead times differ by page: 3 to 5 business days on the product page, 4 to 7 business days in the FAQ, and up to 3 business days to fulfil plus 1 to 5 days in transit on the shipping page. The FAQ suggests two people carry it to its room and recommends 8 to 10 hours for it to expand before sleeping on it.
The returns page offers a 100 night trial, the about page says 100 days, and a return can be requested after 30 nights. The warranty is 10 years, limited, for the original purchaser only, and prorated after 18 months: full repair or replacement up to that point, then 80% for months 19 to 36, 60% to month 60, 40% to month 96 and 20% to month 120.
