The Supplement Facts panel lists a 10.1 g scoop with 35 calories, 9 g of protein and 90 mg of vitamin C from lipid metabolite ascorbate, 100% of the daily value. Nearly all of the scoop is a 10 g Multi Collagen Complex: hydrolyzed bovine hide collagen peptides, fermented eggshell membrane collagen, chicken bone broth protein concentrate, Bacillus coagulans SNZ-1969 or IDCC1201 at 2 billion CFU at time of manufacture, and hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides. Ancient Nutrition says those 4 sources supply 10 collagen types: I, II, III, IV, V, VII, VIII, X, XII and XXIII. The label lists egg and fish (haddock, cod, pollock) as allergens.

The brand states the bovine collagen comes from pasture-raised, grass-fed cattle in South America, the fish collagen from wild-caught haddock, cod and pollock in North American waters, the eggshell membrane from US egg breaking facilities, and the bone broth protein from non-GMO, US-farmed chickens. It says the powder is made in US facilities audited by third parties for Current Good Manufacturing Practice and tested for identity, purity, heavy metals and safety. The product page names no outside certification program.

Watch the scoop math. The front of the tub says 20 grams of collagen, and the small print under it says per 2 scoops. The panel's serving is 1 scoop, so the 45 servings are 45 scoops of 10 g each, and a 20 g habit empties the tub in about 22 days. At $49.95 that is $1.11 a scoop or $2.22 for 20 g. The 100-serving tub at $89.95 cuts a scoop to $0.90, and Subscribe and Save takes 35% off the first order and 15% off each delivery after.

Read the 9 g as collagen protein. Ancient Nutrition's own complete protein article calls a protein incomplete when it is missing or very low in one or more essential amino acids, and the brand's amino acid table for this powder lists 5.16 mg of tryptophan and 294 mg of leucine per scoop next to 2,250 mg of glycine and 1,340 mg of proline. The brand does not call it a complete protein.

Ancient Nutrition says the formula supports healthy skin, hair, nails, joints and gut. Those are the brand's statements, and we have not verified them. The directions are plain: adults mix 1 scoop into 8 ounces of hot or cold liquid with a blender, frother or shaker. The unflavored tub is made without sweeteners, artificial colors or dyes, per the label icons.

How much does Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen Protein cost per serving?

The unflavored 45-serving tub is $49.95 one-time, $1.11 a scoop, read on ancientnutrition.com on 2026-10-29. Subscribe and Save charges $32.47 for the first tub and $42.46 after, $0.94 a scoop. The 100-serving tub is $89.95 ($0.90 a scoop), the 24-serving tub $32.95 ($1.37) and a box of 40 stick packs $69.95 ($1.75). The tub's 20 g collagen callout is for 2 scoops, which costs $2.22 at the 45-serving one-time price.

What collagen types and sources are in it?

It draws on 4 sources: hydrolyzed bovine hide collagen peptides, fermented eggshell membrane collagen, chicken bone broth protein concentrate and hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides. Ancient Nutrition says together they supply 10 collagen types: I, II, III, IV, V, VII, VIII, X, XII and XXIII. The brand states the bovine hide is grass-fed and pasture-raised in South America, the fish is wild-caught haddock, cod and pollock, and the eggshell membrane and chicken come from US sources. The label lists egg and fish as allergens.

How much protein is in a scoop, and is it a complete protein?

A 10.1 g scoop has 9 g of protein and 35 calories, and 2 scoops have 18 g. Ancient Nutrition does not call it a complete protein. Its own amino acid table lists 5.16 mg of tryptophan per scoop, and its complete protein article calls a protein incomplete when it is missing or very low in one or more essential amino acids.

What flavors and sizes does it come in?

Unflavored comes in 24, 45, 60 and 100 servings and in a box of 40 stick packs. The core flavors listed on 2026-10-29 are Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry Lemonade, Cucumber Lime and Cold Brew. Their 40 and 45-serving tubs are $52.95, the 24-serving tubs of Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry Lemonade are $32.95, and Vanilla also comes in 60 servings at $56.95. The store also lists 4 newer 24-serving flavors at $32.95: Peppermint Dark Chocolate, Gingerbread, Lemon Iced Tea and Pumpkin Cream. Most flavored listings name stevia leaf extract (Cold Brew's does not), and the core flavors' scoops weigh 10.5 to 12.5 g, so check each flavor's own label.

How do you take Multi Collagen Protein?

The brand's directions: adults add 1 scoop to 8 ounces of hot or cold liquid using a blender, hand frother or shaker cup. Its FAQ says most people take 1 scoop a day and some take up to 3, and to consult a healthcare professional before starting. The tub is filled by weight, so the brand suggests a light shake or roll before scooping. It is made from animal sources and is not vegan or vegetarian.

Is it third-party tested?

Ancient Nutrition says the powder is made in US facilities that third-party organizations audit for Current Good Manufacturing Practice, and that products are tested for ingredient identity, purity, heavy metals and safety. The product page does not name an outside certification program or publish batch test results, as read on 2026-10-29.
