Moment Strawberry Rose Botanical Soda, 12 Pack of 11.5 fl oz Cans

Strawberry Rose is one of the sodas in what Moment calls its core line, and it is the flavour the brand's FAQ suggests to new customers. Moment of Calm, Inc., a New York company that its FAQ says was founded in 2020 by Aisha Chottani and Faheem Kajee, sells it in 11.5 fl oz (340 ml) cans and ships only to the US. The 12 pack is $40 one time on Moment's own store. Moment says the drinks are made for adults.

The ingredient list, printed on the Nutrition Facts image in the product gallery, reads: sparkling filtered water, strawberry puree, strawberry juice from concentrate, erythritol, organic apple cider vinegar, natural flavors (strawberry, blackberry, and rose), malic acid, L-theanine, black carrot concentrate, KSM-66 ashwagandha root extract, stevia leaf extract, monk fruit extract. The panel also says the drink contains 5% juice. Moment publishes no milligram amount for the L-theanine or the ashwagandha, so there is no dose to set against a capsule or another drink. A functional ingredient carousel on the same product page names ginger, turmeric and ginseng, and none of the three appears in this ingredient list.

On the panel, one can carries 10 calories, 7g total carbohydrate including 6g of erythritol, total sugars under 1g with 0g added, 0g fat, 0mg sodium and 0g protein. The same image prints 2g net carbs per can. Moment's calorie figures elsewhere do not match the panel: a gallery image says 15, the product page badge says 10 to 20, and the FAQ gives both 10 to 20 and 5 to 20 depending on the flavor. The product page and the FAQ both say there is no caffeine.

The FAQ says the sodas are vegan, that all of Moment's ingredients are non-GMO and that its drinks are gluten-free. No certifying body is named for any of the three. Country of manufacture, shelf life, storage guidance, can lining and third party testing are not published.

The terms need reading before a first order. Moment's refund policy says it does not accept returns or refunds of product; for a damaged or wrong order it asks for an email to hi@drinkmoment.com right away and publishes no time limit or remedy. Shipping wording conflicts across the store. The FAQ gives free shipping on one-time orders over $50 and on every subscription order, while the 24 pack page and the research page say free shipping on all orders. A one-time 12 pack sits under the $50 line, and its shipping cost is unknown to us because checkout was not opened. The shipping and returns page asks buyers to allow 24 hours for processing and to expect the order within 4 to 7 days of placing it.
