8 blood and urine test groups, including CMP-14, CBC, lipids, thyroid with TSH, and a complete urinalysis, for $299 with no doctor visit.

Walk-In Lab has sold direct-to-consumer lab testing since 2009. You order the panel online, pick a LabCorp or Quest draw location, and get results back through a secure online account. No doctor visit is required, and the company takes FSA and HSA payment. The Wellness #3 Extreme is the top panel in its wellness line: 8 blood and urine test groups for $299, plus a flat $6.00 per order physician fee at checkout.

The panel covers a lot of ground for the money. A Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP-14) measures glucose, electrolytes, kidney markers with eGFR, and liver enzymes including AST and ALT. A CBC with differential and platelets counts red cells, white cell subtypes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets. A lipid panel reports total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and the total cholesterol to HDL ratio, with VLDL included on the LabCorp version. A thyroid panel measures T4, T3 uptake, FTI/T7, and TSH. Uric acid, total iron, and a complete urinalysis with microscopic examination round out the set.

Where it gives ground: this is a lab-ordering service, not an analytics platform. Results arrive as standard lab reports, so there is no longitudinal dashboard or biomarker trend layer like the premium subscription testing services offer. The thyroid section runs TSH with T4 and T3 uptake rather than free T3 and free T4, and markers such as ApoB, hs-CRP, hormones, and vitamin D are not in this panel. You would add those as separate tests at extra cost. You also have to show up at a draw site; nothing here is at-home collection.

As a raw data source it is hard to beat on price. The same categories of markers form the backbone of far more expensive testing memberships, and here they cost $299 in a single order you control, from CLIA-certified labs you can name.

Frequently asked

Walk-In Lab Wellness #3 Extreme Blood and Urine Test Panel - buyer FAQ

do you have to fast for the Wellness 3 Extreme panel

Yes. Walk-In Lab instructs patients to fast for 12 to 14 hours before specimen collection, maintain a stable diet for 2 to 3 weeks beforehand, and stop taking biotin 72 hours before the draw. Because the panel needs a urine sample as well as blood, plan a morning visit when labs are already running fasting patients.

how long do Walk-In Lab Wellness 3 results take

Walk-In Lab lists a 3 to 4 day turnaround for this panel and notes results may take longer with weather, holiday or lab delays. Results are uploaded to your secure online account rather than mailed. The company's general FAQ says results usually post within 24 to 48 hours of specimen collection.

can I use Walk-In Lab in New York or New Jersey

Not through either network. Walk-In Lab says LabCorp testing is unavailable in NY, NJ, RI, MD and MA, and Quest Diagnostics is unavailable in AZ, NY, NJ and RI. The two networks together run about 3,700 US locations, so confirm which one serves your state before ordering this panel.
