QUICK VERDICT
The Sans Air Purifier pushes room air through a wipeable pre-filter, a HEPA 13 layer and a pound of activated carbon, adds an internal UV-C light, and shows PM2.5, PM10 or VOC readings. Sans's store lists it at $369.99 in White and $389.99 in Midnight, Sand or Agave.
- Best for
- Buyers who want one HEPA and carbon floor unit for an open living area, who like reading PM2.5, PM10 and VOC levels on the unit itself rather than in an app, and who will budget for a new filter on a regular schedule to keep the warranty valid.

- You compare purifiers by CFM or AHAM figures, since Sans publishes only a metric delivery rate; or you mainly need clean air in several closed rooms, where Sans itself points to more than one unit. The Mini is a separate listing at $199.99 to $209.99.

The Sans Air Purifier comes from Living Well Solutions, LLC, which trades as Sans from West Hollywood, California. Where the unit is manufactured is not published. Its single filter cartridge stacks a pre-filter you can wipe with a damp cloth, a HEPA 13 layer and one pound of activated carbon. An internal UV-C light completes the build, with no lamp specification published. Two brand images give the size as 20 in tall, 10 in long and 11.5 in wide. The product page's Tech Specs label the same figures differently: 20 in high, 10 in wide and 11.5 in deep.
Sans states a clean air delivery rate of 420 m³/hr and publishes no CFM, AHAM or per-pollutant figure. Its coverage claim, up to 1,854 sq. ft. every hour, comes without the ceiling height or air change rate behind it. The help centre is plainer: the unit purifies the room it is in, and very little purified air reaches the next room when a door is closed.
The capture figures disagree across Sans's own pages. The product description says up to 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 micron. The FAQ says 99.97% at 0.3 microns and 99.95% at 0.1 microns. The technology page gives 99.97% down to 0.3 microns. None of the three names a test standard or a lab.
Sans says laser sensors read PM2.5, PM10 and VOC and adjust purification automatically. The display shows one reading at a time on a scale of 0 to 74 Good, 75 to 149 Moderate and 150 and above Poor. Sans describes no app or Wi-Fi connection.
The filter is rated for 2200 hours of continuous use. Replacing it on schedule is a condition of the warranty, and replacement filters cannot be returned.
The written warranty runs 5 years, limited, and must be registered within 30 days of the order. Sans repairs or replaces at its discretion, with new or refurbished parts, and the owner may pay shipping. Filters, UV bulbs and commercial use are excluded. The FAQ describes the same cover as a full warranty with replacement at no cost. Returns are accepted for 30 days on an item in like-new condition with its original packaging. The FAQ promises a free prepaid label; the return policy ties the label to the return being accepted.
The California Air Resources Board's certified air cleaner list includes a Sans "Air Purifier" entry, Executive Order G-22-145 from 2022, without saying whether it covers this unit or the Mini. CARB certification sets an ozone emission limit.

Sans Air Purifier - buyer FAQ
How much does the Sans Air Purifier cost?
On Sans's store on September 30, 2026, the White unit was $369.99, and Midnight, Sand and Agave were $389.99, each shown against a struck price $100 higher. A sitewide SAVE $100 banner ran with no end date published. Sans lists the first three-stage filter as included in the box.
How often do Sans air purifier filters need replacing?
Sans rates its 3-in-1 filter for 2200 hours, which it equates to 3 months of continuous use, and the unit signals when the filter is due. Its warranty policy gives a looser range of typically every 3 to 6 months. Only the pre-filter can be wiped clean. The HEPA 13 and carbon layers are not washable and need replacing once saturated.
How big a room can the Sans Air Purifier handle?
Sans quotes coverage of up to 1,854 sq. ft. per hour and lists a clean air delivery rate of 420 m³/hr, with no CFM equivalent and no ceiling height behind the coverage number. Its help centre adds a practical limit: the unit cleans the room it stands in, and Sans suggests additional units for bedrooms whose doors usually stay closed.
What does the Sans 5-year warranty cover?
The written policy covers defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years under normal residential use, provided you register within 30 days of ordering and change filters on schedule. Sans decides whether to repair or replace, possibly with refurbished parts, and you may pay to ship the unit back. Filters and UV bulbs are excluded. Sans's FAQ calls it a full warranty.
