Nextrition Pet, whose contact address is a PO box in Clearfield, Utah, sells four cold-pressed dog food recipes, and Chicken is the one its menus and collection grid list first. It comes in 4.5 lb resealable bags packed inside a box, 12 cups to a bag by the brand's count. The FAQ calls it shelf stable with no need for refrigeration. Shelf life and how long an opened bag keeps are not published.

The first five ingredients on the label are chicken, rice, sweet potato, oats and dried pumpkin. Skim milk powder and salmon oil are also on the list, so chicken is not the only animal ingredient. The label adds five probiotic fermentation extracts, a yeast culture it calls postbiotics and dried chicory root it calls prebiotic, with no CFU counts published. The guaranteed analysis gives crude protein of at least 28%, crude fat of at least 10%, crude fiber of at most 4.5% and moisture of at most 14%. Calorie content is 3,215 kcal ME/kg, or 504.8 kcal per cup, calculated. The adequacy statement says the recipe is formulated to meet AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including growth of large dogs of 70 lb or more as adults. No feeding trial is claimed.

Nextrition says each bag starts with over 4 pounds of U.S.-sourced chicken and more than 12 pounds of fresh ingredients before pressing. Its FAQ says the food is pressed without high heat or steam, and that some ingredients, such as the grains, are cooked first. The pressing temperature is not published. The brand says it tests every batch for Salmonella and E. coli and against its nutritional target before shipping, and it does not name the lab or the test panel.

The product page, the story page and two other pages name Illinois as where the food is made, while four competitor comparison pages name a facility in Ogden, Utah. The product page credits an unnamed expert pet nutritionist with the recipe, while a badge on the same page reads vet-formulated. A section of the product page lists brown rice, oatmeal, barley, fish oil and yeast extract, where the label reads rice, oats, salmon oil and yeast culture and lists no barley.

Every size clears both of the store's free shipping statements: the product page says all food orders ship free by standard shipping, and the shipping policy sets the line at orders over $30. The store ships only within the contiguous United States. Food cannot be returned. A refund can be requested within 30 days of receiving a first full order, and the policy reserves the right to refuse refunds on repeat orders. Subscriptions offer 11 delivery intervals from every 14 to every 60 days, with an email reminder 3 days before each order processes and changes due at least 24 hours before.
