Peak Saunas makes the Patagonia and sells it direct. On 2026-10-14 its store listed the 2-person outdoor cabin at $10,950 in a single configuration. An aluminum shell with a baked varnish finish wraps a Canadian hemlock interior. Outside it measures 52 inches wide, 42 deep and 83 high under a 63 by 53.2 inch roof, and it weighs 798 lbs. Inside is 44 by 38 by 77 inches.
Heat comes from 8 panels that pair carbon far infrared with halogen and quartz across 700 to 25,000 nm, to a maximum of 170°F. Above 175°F the sauna stops and stays locked until the power is disconnected and reconnected.
The red light panel is 9 by 36 inches, with 216 dual chip LEDs at 8 wavelengths from 630 to 1060 nm, and it runs with the heaters on or off. The product page gives its irradiance as 175 mW/cm² at 6 inches, 107 at 12 and 80 at 24. The panel's own manual prints no irradiance figure. Peak's documents describe the panel differently. The product page says it comes standard, built into the front wall. One graphic calls it a limited-time gift. The Patagonia manual lists it as a part in the box, joined to the front wall panel by a 16 inch coiled cord, and the panel manual says it ships separately.
Power decides whether this cabin works at your address. Peak requires a dedicated, outdoor-rated 240V, 20A circuit ending in a NEMA L6-20R locking receptacle, put in by a licensed electrician. The product page rates the cabin at 3,350W, while the owner's manual says 3,120 watts and 13 amps at full load. Peak's documents also split on ground-fault protection: the manual rules out GFCI outlets and breakers, and the installation guide has the electrician fit a GFCI breaker at the panel where local code calls for one. Peak publishes no ETL, UL or CSA listing and no EMF figure for this model.
The crate weighs over 800 lbs, and the manual wants at least 3 people to lay it down. In the product page text, most owners assemble the cabin themselves and 2 adults typically finish in about half a day, while the Patagonia manual says at least 3 adults are required. Peak's page points to the manual for a pad size, and the manual lists suitable surfaces without giving dimensions.
The warranty runs 7 years, limited and residential, from delivery. Peak's store description calls it a limited lifetime warranty. A sauna left uninstalled more than 6 months after delivery is not covered until Peak inspects and approves it.
Weigh the exit cost before ordering. Returns are accepted for 30 days from delivery at a 25% restocking fee, with return freight arranged and paid by you, and the cabin has to go back fully disassembled in its original crate. Cancelling before the order ships costs 5%.

Peak Saunas Patagonia - buyer FAQ
How much is the Peak Patagonia, and what is the $18,032 figure next to the price?
Peak's own store listed the Patagonia at $10,950 in USD on 2026-10-14, in one configuration. Peak gives the sauna alone a $13,995 list price. The $18,032 beside it is that list price plus a red light panel valued at $1,799, crate delivery at $1,500, a club membership at $588 a year and a gift box at $150. Tax and checkout discounts were not checked.
What comes with the Patagonia for $10,950?
One sauna in one configuration, with no size or finish options. The product page says a 9 by 36 inch red light panel comes standard, and the store adds it to the order as a $0.00 free gift line, along with a club membership, a welcome box and crate packaging. A promotional graphic on the same page calls the panel a limited-time free gift.
How is the Patagonia delivered, and who puts it together?
Peak ships it free in the contiguous U.S. by LTL freight, crated on a pallet, with a 4-hour delivery window you must be present for. Peak does not offer room-of-choice placement or assembly with delivery. The crate weighs over 800 lbs. The product page text says 2 adults take about half a day to assemble it; the model's manual says at least 3 adults are required.
What power and space does the Patagonia need outdoors?
A dedicated, outdoor-rated 240V, 20A circuit ending in a NEMA L6-20R locking receptacle, run by a licensed electrician. The cord is about 9 ft and extension cords are not allowed. The cabin is 52 by 42 by 83 inches under a 63 by 53.2 inch roof, and it has to stand on a flat, stable, well-drained surface. Installing it directly on grass, soil or gravel voids the warranty.
What does Peak's warranty on the Patagonia cover?
Peak gives a 7-year limited residential warranty starting at delivery, for the original purchaser only. A product page graphic lists the warranty as Lifetime. Heating elements and the cabin structure get 7 years, the controls and red light panel 3, and lighting, audio, WiFi and accessories 1. Labor fees and weather damage are excluded. First-year technical support is diagnostic only and capped at $350 per claim and one site visit.
