LIFESPANVAULTUse it at Sun Home Saunas →The Nova 6-Person (which replaced the 5-person in Sun Home's lineup) is the larger of Sun Home's two traditional cabins, built for a family or a group that wants to bathe together. It steps the heater up to a HUUM Drop 7.5kW to bring the bigger room to the same roughly 230°F, and keeps everything that makes the Nova line distinct: real water-on-stones loyly, Canadian cedar walls, dual-stack benches that give you a hot upper zone and a milder lower seat, a hand-laid carbonized hexagonal tile back wall from a single Estonian workshop, and thermal-optimized black privacy glass matched to the Eclipse aesthetic.
Controls are the same three-way setup as the 3-person: the HUUM UKU remote, an in-cabin capacitive panel, and an RGB remote for the warm ambient LED tile lighting and tunable ambient color, with Wi-Fi through the HUUM app and Sun Home app integration noted as coming. A built-in electric ventilation fan keeps fresh air circulating through the larger cabin.
Where it gives ground: it is a $15,799 permanent install. The 7.5kW heater needs a dedicated 240V hardwired circuit and an electrician, it needs real floor space for a six-seat traditional room, and like the 3-person it carries no built-in red light therapy. Sun Home publishes a dedicated 240V/40A circuit, an exterior of 78.7 x 68.9 x 82.7 inches and about 926 lb; as a brand-new model, confirm current warranty terms with Sun Home before buying.
The buyer this is built for: a household or host who wants authentic traditional Finnish bathing for a group, with Sun Home's cedar-and-tile craftsmanship and HUUM smart controls. The buyer who should skip: solo or couple users (the Nova 3-Person or the plug-in Equinox is a better fit), or anyone who wants infrared plus red light (the Eclipse).

Sun Home Saunas Nova Indoor 6-Person Traditional Sauna - buyer FAQ
How many people fit in the Sun Home Nova 6-Person?
Six. It is the larger of Sun Home's two traditional Nova cabins (it replaced the earlier 5-person model), with dual-stack cedar benches so some bathers can take the hotter upper zone while others sit lower. The heater is stepped up to a HUUM Drop 7.5kW to bring the bigger room to about 230°F.
What is the difference between the Nova 6-Person and 3-Person?
Size and heater. The 6-Person is $15,799 with a 7.5kW HUUM Drop heater; the 3-Person is $11,999 with a 6kW heater (both verified August 2026). Both are traditional water-on-stones cabins in Canadian cedar with the same dual-stack benches, Estonian tile back wall, black privacy glass, and HUUM controls. Choose by how many people bathe at once and the room you have.
Does the Nova 6-Person need a 240V circuit?
Yes. The Nova 6-Person is hardwired with no plug, and Sun Home specifies a dedicated 240V/40A circuit installed by a licensed electrician. Confirm any site requirements with Sun Home before booking the work.
Is the Sun Home Nova a traditional or infrared sauna?
Traditional. Like the 3-Person, the Nova 6-Person heats rocks with a HUUM Drop electric heater and makes real steam when you add water, reaching roughly 230°F. Sun Home's Equinox and Eclipse are the infrared cabins in the lineup; the Nova is the classical Finnish option.
